Today there was discourse about the nature of our learning.

Generally, the sentiment was that the current system wasn't extracting the most out of us.
There is also unhappiness about our Guinea Pig Status and the stresses that come with being the pioneer batch.

I disagree, abit.

Sure, there aren't as many subjects available and not even an EE subject of our choice but i see the cup as half full.

I see opportunities for independent learning. I have been hanging around the National Library recently and the resources there are infinite or at least more than we can digest in a lifetime.

If i didn't come here i wouldn't have the chance to do all of this. And i sure wouldn't be the person i am today.

That means to say i would be twice the dimwit that i am today

I watched Wanna Come In? on mtv (such is the severity of my boredom) and am amused by how they have to get invited in to keep the money they "win".

This is effectively sabotaged by the fact that they have to pull off three ridiculous stunts during the "date" and the girls they pick clearly have better things to do with their lives.

Running after a spicy meal is not a smart thing to do. On our annual crosscountry run they mixed with devastating effect; the carrot cake was a source of torture throughout.

Today it happened again and i must really learn to stop doing that.
